Patent Application Support

Technical documentation for mechanical and mechatronic patent applications — from initial filing through to any challenge that follows.

What We Deliver

Patent drawings to OBI, EPO, and USPTO specification: multi-view orthographic drawings, exploded assemblies, and detail views with reference numerals keyed to the claims. Written descriptions covering mechanism of action, novel features, and functional relationships between components. Claims authored to clearly define the scope of protection and support the prior art examination.

Prior art analysis from an engineering standpoint: identifying what exists in the state of the art, locating the genuine novelty, and structuring the claims around it.

For patents already granted: technical reports on the validity or invalidity of opposing patents, product compliance reports demonstrating whether a product falls within the scope of an awarded patent, and mechanical engineering reports prepared for court or arbitration proceedings.

How We Work

We work directly with the inventor or alongside legal counsel — handling the technical documentation so the attorney focuses on legal strategy. We do not draft legal arguments or provide legal advice.

For Greek filings, we guide clients toward the Search Report with Reasoned Opinion rather than the lighter Simple Search Report. A patent granted without a full prior art examination can be awarded and then invalidated in court when challenged — the examination that was skipped at filing becomes the opposing side's argument. Greek patents filed with a full Search Report with Reasoned Opinion are also structured for EPO filing without requiring significant rework of the core documentation.

Who This Is For

The patent system exists on a simple principle: anyone who creates something genuinely novel and advances the state of the art is entitled to protection for it — regardless of background or resources.

We bring the engineering experience to produce patent drawings and technical descriptions accurately and efficiently, and to evaluate the state of the art to establish where the genuine novelty of an invention sits. Whether you are filing independently or working alongside legal counsel, the technical documentation will be done properly.
